Come on everyone lets not argue amongst clubs Carnival is about all of us pulling together having fun and getting on as well as the odd trophy along the way so come on lets not fight lets put a good year behind us and let the future come in Im tired of seeing clubs fighting over people leaving clubs,going to new ones and of little piece of wood known as trophys its stupid anyway I think there should be a younger person from each club being a carnival rep rather than just adults or have a younger version of a carnival commitee what do all of you think?

regarding what has been wrote on the 20th dec i have never been a member of golden triangle cc so you may wish to research your info better in future although we have recieved application forms from members of that club.
Everything has been done above board and the members joined us after leaving golden triangle.We would like to wishtriangle every success for the comeing future as there are no bad feelings on our side if you heard otherwise then you may understand why members have left.

We are Tauntons newest carnival club and will be taking part in all south somerset carnivals plus Crewkerne, Honiton and more.We already have 30 members but are looking for more anyone
interested in joining meetings are held at The Nags Head ,Thornfalcon nr Taunton
the first sunday in every month from 8pm
except January which is the 9th.We are also looking to buy a generator at least
150 - 300 kva and also were looking for a tractor to decorate.

Bridgwater carnival was excellent! As Terry said, shame about the delay. Where I was standing I could see the entries down the road so not many people left. Still, I knew some of the big ones would be still to come. The dancers (from Notting Hill?) at the beginning were brilliant as well. I guess they didnt think it would be that much of a squeeze to get past everyone!

Another fantastic Bridgwater carnival!
Shame about the huge gap (caused by an unfortunate breakdowns, apparently), loads of people where we were left because they thought it had ended and missed at least a quarter of the procession.
The organization was a bit bad, how come all the big Bridgwater clubs were at the back and out of place. We were beginning to wonder if theyd pulled out because they disliked the route change!
I think Gemini and Masqueraders should be this years winners overall.

Is it just me or is anybody else concerned that they have changed Bridgwater Carnival route? I think this is ludicris and not necessary.They havent put any thought into it and have not taken into account the Broadway junction,where u will have carts turning from Broadway into St Mary Street and also from Broadway into Taunton Road. This is bound to cause trouble and it wouldnt surprise me if the whole carnival was brought ot a stand still! Carnival Commitee,sort it out!
